HQS (High Quality Sourced) describes meat or fish (used for pet food) that originally were fit for human consumption and that, however, are reclassified to feed grade for business reasons.

HQS features:
Contains nutrients such as proteins with high biological value (typical amino acid profile of fish/meat muscle tissue), vitamins and minerals.
