Since its founding in 1830, INABA Inaba has been dedicated to the production of processed seafood for human consumption. Continuous innovation in production has earned numerous accolades from the Japanese government. Its canned tuna, launched in 1971, has become a household classic and highly regarded in the market.

In addition to producing food, INABA Inaba has been producing pet food since 1958, exporting to the United States, Europe, and other regions. 2019 Japanese pet industry statistics show that INABA Inaba has taken the top spot in the Japanese pet food market. INABA Inaba’s CIAO brand has even surpassed the company’s name to become one of the most renowned pet food brands.

INABA’s factory is strategically located in Shizuoka Prefecture, where we purchase the freshest catches every day and produce the most delicious food to satisfy the appetites of our pet cats and dogs in a factory that also produces human food.

Through continuous development, INABA’s own factories have spread across Japan, Thailand and China, and a factory in the United States is also under construction.
